For the past week, Josh Marthers on News 2 at 5 am and 6 am has been telling us that there is a BIG storm coming to charleston and the south east. That there will be snow...lots of it. It was all people could talk about over the weekend- the BIG storm would hit sunday night...stock up on milk and bread, cover your water hose, cover your plants, etc. It made the people in Charleston hysterical and frantic!
Well, i woke up this morning at 5:30 and NOTHING. Not a drop of precipitation.
That quickly changed after i got to work though, with lots and lots of sleet and ice.
Taylor's school closed.
College of Charleston closed.
And of course all of the bridges are closed right now...no getting into or out of downtown.
The news is saying there are "dangerous conditions" and that people should stay home. Too bad i am already at work!!!
Oh I am so sorry that you got stuck at work and now the bridges are closed!!!! I was supposed to come see Patrick today and well we have over seven inches of snow here and now the sleet and ice are hitting us.
ReplyDeleteDo you have to stay at work, or can you stay with someone downtown?
Take care of yourself and be safe
